Marie Vinson

Marie Byrley Vinson, 78, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Liberty Commons Center.  She was born February 10, 1941 in Guilford County to the late Charlie Eugene and Kate Jones Byrley.  Marie was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.  She loved to drive and visit with friends and family.  She enjoyed shopping and bargain hunting.  She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Madren (Michael); grandchildren, Emily Madren, Justin Madren; siblings, Mary McCann (Maynard), Clarence Byrley (Sue) and David Byrley (Lucille), several cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Rachel May.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at New Hope Baptist Church by Rev. Randy Hobbs.  Interment will follow at 1:00 PM in Lakeview Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home of her daughter.
