Marie Moore Greeson
Marie M. Greeson, 70, of Whitsett, passed away on November 16, 2022. She was born January 24, 1952 in Winston Salem, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Larry E. Greeson, as well as, parents Simon & Delores Moore; daughter, Tammy Wilkinson; sisters, Susan Lackey & Laura Phillips and brother, Stephen Moore. Surviving are her beloved children, Anita Gannon (Kendall), Adam Angel (Kristie) & Dwayne Greeson; nine grandchildren, Matthew, Taylor, Courtney, Jodi, Cody, Emma, Ethan, Alex & Aaron.
While Marie was a woman of few words, she loved her family and animals dearly. She could often be found with a cat on her lap. Our mother was a woman of faith and often supported those in need. She was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren, often bragging about their achievements in life. She always enjoyed their visits and going on nature walks and fishing with them.
A private graveside service will be held for the family at Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington on Monday.
