Marie Cadet

Marie Lisa Cadet, 74, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was born in Jacmel, Haiti on November 3, 1940 to the late Leon and Sylvie Bonaventure Cadet. Lisa was a retired elementary school teacher. She loved dancing, music and reading. She loved being around family and friends and enjoyed a good conversation. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Freda Daphnee and Patrick Dumornay; grandchildren, Patrick Junior Dumornay and Jordan Alexander Dumornay; sisters, Lola, Lina, Laure Cadet, Carine Garraud; brothers, Lully and Lomon Cadet, Leonidas Garraud; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Luce Cadet and her brother, Lenau Cadet. The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 9:00am to 10:45am Saturday morning prior to the service and other times at the daughters' home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Hospice nurses and staff, Dr. Lateef, Dr. Singh, Dr. Pandit and their staff at Alamance Regional Medical Center for the loving care and support that was shown to Lisa during her illness.
