Marian Vogt

Whitsett, NC Marian Marie Rudewick Vogt, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Freeland, Pennsylvania and the wife of the late Henry Vogt. Marian worked for many years at Dow Jones and she worked for several years in nursing as an LPN. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, a member of the Red Hats Society and the VFW where she served as passed President of the Ladies Auxili ary. Marian was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose wit and charm touched everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Survivors include her daughter, Marian Vogt Decowski of the home; grandchildren, Debra Morgan and her husband, Don of Burlington, Eric Decowski and his wife, Lisa of Freehold, New Jersey; great grandchildren, Linsey Morgan-Guyette and her husband, Robert of Gibsonville and Alan Decowski of Freehold, NJ; sisters, Anna Rapach and Gracie Hyduke both of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Charles and Mary Bradock Rudewick; brothers, Charles, Jack and Joseph Rudewick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace in North Brunswick, New Jersey. The graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday with the prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
