Margie Lee Whitehead

Margie Lee Whitehead, 86, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Bryan Center in Caswell County after several years of failing health.  She was born in Columbus County on November 30, 1935 to the late Lawrence William and Dora Janie Hathaway Lee and was the wife of the late Robert Lee Whitehead, Sr.

Margie enjoyed the flea markets and trips to the beach with her family and friends.

Survivors include her son, Robert Lee Whitehead, Jr. (Deborah), Craig Whitehead and Randy Whitehead (Heather); daughters, Penny Little and Terri Baulding (Don) and a  brother, Billy Lee (Leatha).  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; sons, Buddy Jones and Glen Jones; two brothers and three sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
