Margaret Davis

Burlington, NC Margaret Evans Bryant Davis, age 92, formerly of 1603 Elder Way and a former resident of Burlington Manor went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 17, 2007 at The Presbyterian Home of Hawfields. She was a native of Robeson County and the wife of the late Robert Henry Davis. Margaret retired from Baker Cammack Hosiery and Kayser Roth and she was a homemaker. She was a former member of Northside Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Circle and a member of Shamrock Evangelical Methodist Church. Margaret was a loving and devoted wife and mother who enjoyed being with her family. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Harold Cockerham of Julian; son, Bobby Davis of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her husband, infant daughter, Margaret Ann Davis; parents, Evans Preston Bryant and Margaret Jane Bracey Byrant; sister, Mabel Rice; Brothers, James and Vernon Bryant. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Benny Church and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The family will be at the daughters home at other times, 5231 Watchtower Road, Julian, NC 27283.
