Margaret Ann Brown

Ms. Margaret Ann Brown, age 73, of Liberty, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at her residence after several months of failing health.

     Born in Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Edward Brown, Jr. and the late Hallie Mae Westbrooks Brown.  Margaret retired from General Dynamics after many years of service and she liked line dancing and quilting.

     Ms. Brown is survived by her two children, Jessica-Ann Brown and her partner, Timothy Reece and Kelly Brown and his wife, Tracie; three grandchildren, Blake Brown, Brandon Brown and Maleigha Reece; two sisters, Mary Coleman and Sara Creger; a brother, Jimmy Brown; and her best friend, Nellie Bracken.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Hilda Martin.

     The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the family and friends who have reached out to them during Ms. Brown’s illness and after her passing.
