Marcus King

Elon- Marcus Edwin Mark King, 35, of 895 Boone Rd., passed away Monday, April 9, 2007 at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital. Mr. King was born November 19, 1971 in Alamance County to Mrs. Shirley Hurt Oliver who survives, and the late James Edwin King, III. He was employed at Universal Forest. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Durham King of the home; daughter, Brandy Wilson of Elon, sons, Tyler Crutchfield of Snow Camp and Chris Paschal of Elon; granddaughter, Trinity Paschal of Gibsonville; two sisters, Candice Hill of Snow Camp, and Shannan Rendleman of Dallas, NC; three brothers, Kevin Smith of Burlington, James King,IV of Colorado, and Joshua King of Greensboro ; two step-brothers, Scott Oliver and Mike Oliver both of Burlington; step-father, Tommy Oliver of Burlington; and grandparents, Edwin and Frieda King of Burlington. He was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Hurt. The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Walter Jones. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
