Haw River-Mae Campbell Ricks, 85 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 27, 2016. She was a member of Lamb's Chapel and a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her daughter, Sue R. Blackwell and husband, Tony of Haw River; son, David A. Ricks and wife, Lori of Mechanicsville, VA; three grandchildren, Alex and Erin Blackwell and Andrew Ricks. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Albert and Neda Ann Cain Campbell; sisters, Julie Vehaugn and Katy Slaughter and a brother, Jesse Campbell.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. James Rosser. The entombment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 pm prior to the services.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
