Madge Davis

Madge Graham Davis, 73, passed away Thursday August 15, 2013 at The Homeplace. She was born March 30, 1940 in Alamance County, NC to the late Lacy Greene and Mildred Graham Davis. Madge had retired from Carolina Hosiery after thirty years of service and was a member of Shamrock Evangelical Methodist Church. Survivors include her sisters; Rita Hall of Elkin, Joan Gilliam of Haw River, Joyce Mrizek of Willowbrook, IL, Irma Gilley of Burlington, brothers; Harold Davis, Ronald Davis and wife Eunice, Jefferson Davis, Steve Davis and wife Debbie all of Burlington and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Gerald Davis and Millard Davis. There will be a graveside service held 11:00 AM Monday at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Jimmy Burks and Rev. Billy Allen. The family will be at the home of her brother Steve Davis, 2949 Altamahaw-Union Ridge Rd. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd.
