Lynn Robinson Blansett, 67, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at Peak Resources surrounded by her family. She had declining health of 8 years and a brief illness of 2 weeks. She was born on April 1, 1949 in Mecklenburg County to the late Rev. Henry Seymour Robinson and Justina Moore Robinson and was married to the late Thomas Shannon Blansett.

Lynn retired after 30 years with the Charlotte Mecklenburg County School System as a Librarian.

Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Justina and C. Jerry Walker; brother and sister-in-law, Seymour and Jennifer T. Robinson; several nieces and cousins.

The celebration of life service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church in Charlotte by Rev. Ken Craig, with the burial of the cremains to follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or to Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church, 1600 W. Mallard Creek Church Road, Charlotte, NC 28262. Lowe Funeral Home is serving the Blansett family.
