Lynda Bolt

Lynda Coffey Bolt, 67, on Monday December 16, 2019 went home to be with the Lord. She was born on September 30, 1952 in Alexandria, VA to the late Homer F. Coffey and Rachel Barnett Bolt Coffey.

Lynda moved back to North Carolina when her children were young to live with her best friend, Syvon Lawyer who died in 2018.

She is survived by her oldest daughter, Tina Hertzog and husband Kenny Hertzog of Concord, NC. Her youngest son, Michael Bolt and wife Stefanie Bolt. Tina and Kenny have three daughters and one son; Natalie, Evelyn, Christine, and Michael, with many great-grandchildren. Michael Bolt and Stefanie Bolt have one son and one daughter; Wyatt and Abigail. She had loving birds, Ladybird, Charlie, Mickey, Lydia and Timmy-toes, a loving dog, Angus Bolt. Some family friends that were close and dear to her heart Steven and Elizabeth Caplinger with their daughter Hannah. She loved everyone that was near and dear to her heart as if they were her own.  Lynda was preceded in death by a infant son Mark Bolt, her mother Rachel Coffey and her best friend Syvon Lawyer.

She was employed through the Research Triangle in Raleigh, NC. We would love to acknowledge some important people that have helped Lynda Bolt through-out her life. Melissa Cates has aided Lynda in her care, ensuring she was fed, and assisted in any form that Lynda needed. Ann Lee who lived with her aided in every way she could, ensuring everything was kept in order and gathering her last wishes and making sure to communicate with us those desires. Donna Kennedy, Donna Adcock, Hazel and Ned Golden you all have helped in many ways and there is no way we could ever repay you for everything you have done for not only Lynda but for the whole family, Lynda loved you very much and was thankful for everything you have done for her. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The whole team here at ARMC in CCU has been amazing, patient, kind, caring and loving. We want to wholeheartedly thank you for everything helping with Lynda Bolt. The whole staff at Hospice home has also been there to support us in this severe time of need.

The celebration of life service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Cornerstone Community Church.  The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 11:45am prior to the service at the church and other times at the son, Michael’s home in Mebane.
