Lydia Ferrell

Lydia Marie Patterson Ferrell, 64, of 1719 Elder Ct. died on Sunday, January 7, 2007 at her home after six months of declining health. She was born in Orange County, daughter of the late Robert Lee Patterson and Mozelle Lucille Murray Patterson who survives. She worked for Gold Toe Hosiery and was a member of Peoples Memorial Christian Church, the Red Hat Society and the American Business Womens Association. She is survived by her mother, Mozelle Lucille Murray Patterson of Hillsborough ; 6 sisters, Tina Hudson of Elon, Sandy Patterson and Mildred Markham, both of Hillsborough, Hilda Jenkins of Burlington, Debra Purser of Greensboro, and Carol Hughes of Cedar Grove; and four brothers, David and Barry Patterson, both of Mebane, Wayne Patterson of Hillsborough and Jack Patterson of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, George Patterson. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Peoples Memorial Christian Church by Rev. Jon Davidson. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at her sisters home, Tina Hudson, 107 Longbrook Drive, Elon.
