Lucy Williamson

Mrs. Lucy Hall Williamson, age 93, of Elon, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at the Hospice Home after several months of failing health.

A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Thomas Hall and the late Flossie White Hall.  She retired from Kayser-Roth after many years of service and was a member of Westside Fellowship.  She enjoyed gardening, but loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Williamson is survived by her two daughters, Kay Tuttle and husband, Burnett, of Charlotte and Sylvia DeMaio and husband, Joe, of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren, Don Williamson, Natalie Hornaday, Scott Williamson, Nicole Eggleston, Michael Scott, Elizabeth Scott and Julia Tuttle; ten great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Irene Hall; and a daughter-in-law, Wilma Williamson.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Donald E. Williamson; a sister, Mary Bell Hensley; and five brothers, Charlie E. Hall, James A. Hall, Adrian Hall, Pete Hall and Billy Hall.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Mike Mitchener.  Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 Tuesday evening at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
