Lucille Brendle

Burlington Lucille Gammon Brendle, 76, of Delaney Dr. passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the Hospice Home following a short illness. She was the wife of the late Ray M. Brendle and was born October 26, 1935 in Johnson City, TN to the late Samuel Dewitt and Sarah Catherine Carder Gouge. Survivors include her daughter Kathy Mitchell and her husband Cecil of Burlington, sons, Kent Gammon and his wife Roberta of Whitsett, Ronald Gammon, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Smithfield, Mark Gammon and his wife Myra of Apex, grandchildren, Stephanie Smith, Chris Gammon and wife Missy, Matt Gammon, Cameron Gammon, Drew Gammon, Courtland Gammon, Madison Gammon, great grandchildren, Logan Smith and Kaitlyn Smith. She is also survived by her sisters, Greta Dabbs, Libby Brown and Linda Joiner and her husband Larry. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ronald James Gammon and Ray M. Brendle and her parents. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday December 27, 2011 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Howard Thompson. Interment will follow in Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 12:45 to 1:45 at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. prior to the service and other times at the home of Kent Gammon.
