Lowrene Dixon

Lowrene Tinnin Dixon, 93, passed away Monday, November 27th at the Hospice Home. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Albert and Grossie Tinnin and the wife of Jack Dixon, all deceased.
She is survived by a daughter, Grosidean Thomas (Wayne); a son, Joe Dixon (Robin) and a sister Mary Conner, twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sons, Frank Dixon, Danny Dixon; a daughter, Phyllis Scott; a grandson, Michael Judd Scott; sisters, Josephine Sykes, Helen Workman, Maude Andrews, Mae Thompson; brothers, Frank Tinnin, Albert Tinnin and Robert Tinnin.
The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Mr. Eddie Schwartz and Mr. Larry Batts. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 10:00 - 10:45 AM prior to the funeral.
