Louise Russell

Mrs. Louise Daniel Ball Russell, 88, passed away Wednesday, October, 17, 2012 at the Hospice Home. She was born in Person County to the late William Thomas Daniel and the late Civil Cornelius Sykes Daniel and was married to the late Banks Milton Russell who died in 1996. Mrs. Russell was a member of Nall Memorial Baptist Church, V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and retired from Copland Fabrics. Survivors include her daughters, Brenda and husband, Jerry Severance of Alliance, Ohio, Betty Sue Holt of the home; son, James Lee "Jimmy" Ball III of McLeansville; step son, Ray Milton Russell and wife, Cindy of Myrtle Beach, SC; 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; sister, Gertrude Jones of Mebane. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Tommy Ball and George Ball; brothers, John Frank Daniel, James Daniel, Bill Daniel, Thomas Daniel and sister, Mary Frances Turner. The funeral service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, October, 20, 2012 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Wade Cox. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45pm Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
