Louise Loman

Louise Coker Loman, 89, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Edgewood Place. She was born in Vass, NC to the late Herbert Garfield and Annie Clark Coker and was married to the late William Ernest "Red" Loman. She was a member of Apple's Chapel Christian Church and the Sunshine Sunday school class. Mrs. Loman retired from Western Electric after 35 years and was a member to the Telephone Pioneers of America. She is survived by her daughter, Terry Tew Michael Burch of Burlington; grandchildren, Denise Johnny Dodson and Brenn Matt Linens and great grandchildren, Sydney Dodson, Spencer Dodson, Kenley Linens and Keller Linens. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Jeanette Faulkner Snowden and brothers, William Edward Coker and Robert Gray "Bobby" Coker. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplain Jeff Knudson. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home. The interment service will be private. Memorials may be made to Apple's Chapel Christian Church, 7345 NC Hwy 61, Gibsonville, NC 27249 or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
