BURLINGTON, NC- Louise Ross Johnson Louise Burnice Ross Johnson, 82, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Hospice Home. She was born in Alamance County on June 10, 1930 to the late John and Julia Moore Ross and was the wife of 58 years to the late Donald "Johnnie" Norris Johnson. Louise was a homemaker and she enjoyed baking chocolate pies and banana pudding for her family and friends. Louise also enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her son, Richard Ronald Johnson and his wife, Nancy of Burlington; daughters, Charlane Crotts and husband, Jerry of Lexington and Pamela Louise Johnson of Burlington; granddaughter, Candice Johnson Smith and a great granddaughter, Melia Smith; sisters, Olevia Lassiter, Mary Jane Freeman and husband, Charles and Linda Davis and husband, Wayne all of Burlington; brothers, Jerry Ross and his companion, Brenda and Gary Ross and his wife, Shirley all of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother, John Cecil Ross. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Dave Gilbert and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Friday at the funeral home and other times at the home.
