Lou Sharpe

Lou Jones Sharpe, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.  Lou was born in Guilford County to the late Henry Davis Jones, Sr. and Minnie Wade Jones and was married to the late James Earl Sharpe.  She was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who truly enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Kana Sharpe; son, Derek Sharpe; granddaughter, Jayden House; sister, Peggy Satterfield-Ward (Bill, Sr.); brothers, Joe and Clinton Jones; sister-in-law, Linda Jones and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers, David Franklin Jones, Melvin Cecil Jones, and Henry Davis Jones, Jr.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Springfield Friends Meeting Cemetery by Pastor Elton Wilborne.
