Lorraine Jefferson Massey of Caswell County left this old-world Monday, June 17 th, 2024, and entered into Heaven’s portals to be greeted by her Lord and Savior as well as share a heavenly reunion with Aubrey Lee Massey and Denise Massey Stutts, her deceased spouse and daughter. Oh, what a joyous reunion. Although each was afflicted with earthly sicknesses, their reunion will be one of good health and everlasting joy and peace…never to suffer again. Lorraine J. Massey is survived by a son Melvin Thomas Massey (Patricia) and a daughter Debbie Massey Rascoe (Alvin). Grandchildren: Kelly Paschal (Roger); Chad Massey (Jade) Brad Stutts and Kristy Machacek (Michael). Great grandchildren: Kyle and Dalton Paschal, Hunter Machacek and Makenzye Moore. Surviving sisters: Susie Garner; Judy Carter and Jeanette Emmons. Preceded in death by her husband-Aubrey Lee Massey, daughter-Denise Stutts, parents-Fuller and Minnie Lee Jefferson. Deceased siblings: Elizabeth Simmons; Thomas; J.T.; Harold and Elgin Jefferson. Lorraine was a member of Pleasant View Assembly of God Church and never missed a Sunday until Covid. She was presented on May 3, 2015, a plaque commemorating her active loyal membership of 65 years. Whenever she could no longer drive, her beloved brother (Harold) and his dear wife (Brenda) became her ride to and from church. Sadly, they both became ill and passed away in 2021. Lorraine shared a special relationship with her sister in Christ, Doris Hall. Doris was faithful in her phone calls and beautiful cards when mama became homebound. As her condition worsened, her home became the Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Yanceyville. She loved each of her caregivers dearly, especially Monique, Harmony, Ashely, and others too numerous to name. A very special thank you to her “Angels” on earth, that provided 24/7 care in her last days on earth.
