Lora Walker

Gibsonville - Lora Jane Crabbe Walker, 57, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on March 20, 1961 in Alamance County to Cecil Leo Crabbe and Jane Hawkins Crabbe and was the wife to Glenn Walker of 35 years who survives.

Lora retired after 30 years as a Director of Operations and an Accountant. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church and the Seekers Sunday school class. Lora was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend to many, who will be dearly missed. She loved her church, her Sunday school class and spending time at the beach.

Survivors other than her husband, Glenn Walker include her daughters, Mandy Farris and husband, David, Kimberlee Jane Walker and friend, Job Saul; a son, Ryan Lee Walker and wife, Jess; her grandchildren that she adored, AJ Farris and Charlee Jane Saul; her mother, Jane Hawkins Crabbe; a brother, David Leo Crabbe and her nieces, Jordan and Loren Crabbe. She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Leo Crabbe.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Harvest Baptist Church by Rev. Larry Lamberth. There will be a private burial at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
