Mrs. Lois Frazier Moore, age 95, formerly of David Moore Rd. passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Presbyterian Home of Hawfields. A native of Rockingham County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Andrew and Ruth Emma Terrell Frazier and wife of the late George Howard Moore who died in 1981. She was a member of Camp Springs United Methodist Church and had formerly worked at Glen Raven Mills and K&W Cafeteria. She was a devoted wife and mother, enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and nurturing her family and extended family Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughter, Deborah M. Murray and husband Craig of Burlington; step granddaughter, Jennifer Murray Stanfield and husband Tim; step great grandchildren T.J. and Nicholas Stanfield. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Rev. D. Susan Moore; brothers, William T. Frazier, Lawrence Frazier and David W. Frazier; sisters, Frances Ross, Edna Carter, Nancy Koski and Ruth Jones. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Camp Springs United Methodist Church by Rev. Stewart Crank. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Moore will remain at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory until being taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 4-6pm Saturday. . The family would like to thank Hospice and the staff of PHH, especially to Corey Duncan and staff of "A" hall for all of their care and support in mama's final days.
