Lois Efland

Efland Lois Rice Efland, 88, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Hospice Home. She was born in Alamance County on May 30, 1924 to the late Joseph Clarence and Glennie Thompson Rice, Sr. and was the wife of nearly 67 years to the late Herman Leon Efland. Lois served in the US Army and was employed with the US Postal Service for 20 years. She is survived by her daughters, Dale Efland Montana and Paula Efland Tennyson, both of Efland; sons, Hermon Leon Efland, Jr. of Church Hill, MD, Taylor Rice Efland of Dallas, TX, David Charles Efland and Peter Lind Efland, both of Efland and ten grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Renee E.
