Lisa Moore

Lisa Bailey Moore, 60, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 21, 2022 at UNC Rockingham Health Care. She was born in Scotland County to the late Elbert Ray and Dorothy Mae Martin Moore. She was the wife of 21 years to Jerry Moore who survives.

Lisa was a member of Eden First Wesleyan Church where she was a member of the Ladies Group and a nursery worker. She was a caregiver for her mom until her death. She loved animals especially her cats, “Gray” and “Ramsey” and her dog, “Sandy”.   Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Moore of the home; daughter, Angela Vann and her husband, Owen of Snow Camp; grandchildren, Dylan Dove, Wesley Vann and Eleana Vann; sister, Bonnie Lee Hester of Virginia Beach, VA, Joyce Langley Ward of Burlington and Marci Lynn Forman and husband, Garry of Maysville, KY, brother, Ronnie Allen Langley and wife, Connie of Richmond, VA;  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jeff Bailey; nephew, Rev. Reginald Hester III; brothers-in-law, Arnold Ward and Jim Hester.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Kevin Dunovant with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Thursday evening at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter, Angela Vann.
