Lisa Ball

Lisa Renea Pennington Ball, 47, passed away after one year of failing health on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill surrounded by her family. She was born in Alamance County to Wade Vernon Pennington and Elizabeth Ann Barnwell Norton who both survives. Lisa was the wife of four years to Mark Dwayne Ball of the home. Lisa was a loving wife, daughter, and friend who will be missed dearly. She attended Hebron United Methodist Church. Survivors other than her husband, Mark Ball includes her mother and step-father, Ann and Sam Norton; father and step-mother, Wade and Laura Pennington; step-daughter, Abby Ball, step-sons, Dylan Ball and Alex Ball; step-sisters, Diana Williams and husband, Larry, Sharon Nicholas and husband, Earnie; step-brothers, Donnie Norton and wife, Susan, Andy Norton and wife, Robin, Matthew Norton and wife, Angela. The funeral service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Jackson and Rev. Scott London with burial to follow in Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12pm to 1:45pm Saturday with a reception prior to the service at the funeral home.
