Linda Sue Bailey Starling, a cherished mother and beloved grandmother, passed away on April 24, 2025, at her residence surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 31, 1946, in Guilford County, Linda lived a life filled with unwavering dedication and warmth.

After dedicating an impressive 48 years of her life to Wrangler, she retired having left an indelible mark through her hard work and loyalty. Linda was not just a devoted employee; she exemplified what it meant to be a hard worker, taking pride in every task and endeavor that came her way. Her passion and commitment will be remembered fondly by those who knew her, both as a professional and a person. Linda was an avid reader and enjoyed going to Vegas. She also loved cats, watching them play.

To those close to her, Linda was known for her deep love for her family. She found immense joy in being a grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her grandchildren, Seth Starling (Brittany) and Brandy Reece and one great grandchild on the way. She poured her heart into nurturing them, sharing laughter, stories, and life lessons that will continue to resonate through their lives.

Linda is survived by her loving children, Timothy (Tim) Starling (Beth), Jaqueline (Jackie) Reece, who carry forward her legacy of strength and compassion. They, along with her grandchildren, a special niece Jodi Mills and her brother-in-law, Wesley Mills will forever hold her memory in their hearts, remembering her not just as a mother, grandmother, and sister but as a guiding light who shaped their lives with her love.

Preceding her in death was her loving husband, Bobby Starling, her father, Ernest Milton Bailey, and her mother, Rosa May Bailey, sister, Elizabeth Mills. They welcomed her into eternal rest with open arms, leaving behind a family that will forever honor her memory.

As we reflect on Linda's life, we will remember her as someone who was not only a hard worker and loyal friend but as a loving family member whose spirit and kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. Linda's wishes were to have a private family gathering.
