Linda Maness

Linda Iris Wade Maness, 76, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Alamance Healthcare.  She was born on August 3, 1944 in Alamance County to the late Wilbert Rainey Wade and Mary Alice Weaver Wade.

Linda retired as a cosmologist with JCPenney’s Hair Salon.  She enjoyed planting flowers and working in her yard.

Linda is survived by her sons, Michael Lee Matthews, Jr., Anthony Craig Matthews, Rodney Wayne Baize and Danny Allen Baize; grandchildren, Michelle Matthews, Michael Bowers, Nicole Bowers, Kaitlyn Baize and Austin Baize; a great grandson, Josh; a sister, Kathy Kingrey and a brother, Herman Wade.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Harold, Billy and Carl Wade.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, October 30, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with the burial to follow at Graham Memorial Park.  Linda will be available for viewing from 8:00am to 1:45pm Friday prior to the service.
