Linda Burton

Linda Ramey Burton, 64, passed away Friday, November 27, 2009 at the Hospice Home. She was born April 27, 1945 in Pittsylvania County, VA to the late John Beverly Ramey, Jr. and Lois Ferguson Ramey who survives. Linda retired from the City of Charlotte Department of Special Transportation Services. When able Linda attended Grove Park Baptist Church. Survivors include her mother of Burlington, a daughter Claudia Burton-Jones and her husband Robert of Greensboro, a grandson Brady Jones, and a sister Patricia Webster and her husband Hugh of Burlington. The memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Gene Hunsinger and Rev. Bill Vickrey. The committal service will be 3:00 PM Sunday in Highland Burial Park in Danville, VA.
