Linda Faye Bristow

Linda Faye Bristow, 75, was taken to her heavenly home on Monday, January 8, 2024 after years of failing health.  She was born September 9, 1948 in Alamance County to the late John Lennon and Esther Hall Sykes.

Faye was married to the love of her life, Bunny Ray Bristow for fifty-four years.  She was employed by Goldtoe for more than 25 years.  She loved God and most recently attended Altamahaw Baptist Church where she sang in the choir.  Faye enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening and traveling with her husband Bunny.

She is survived by her sons, David Bristow (Patty) and Tim Bristow (Ashley); grandchildren, Caleb Bristow (Jenna), Brooke Bristow, Clint Bristow, Austin Bristow, Vickie McLendon and Andy Ingle (Kellie), great grandchildren, Nathan McLendon, Abigail Ingle, Emersyn Ingle and Noah Ingle; brothers, John “Lee” Sykes (Charlene), Larry Sykes (Windy); sisters, Jean Apple (Ray), Joanie Kindley (Tim) and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bunny and son Michael Ray Bristow.

The funeral will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Walter Jones.  Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:30 – 12:45 on Tuesday prior to the funeral and other times at her son, David’s home.
