Lillie Stallings

Elon, NC Lillie Margaret McPherson Stallings, age 91, of 651 Gibsonville-Ossipee Road went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at her home. She was a native of Forsyth County and the wife of the late Robert Roy Stallings. Lillie retired from Cone Mills, Minneola Plant in Gibsonville. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who devoted herself to her family. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Roy Stallings and his wife, Phyllis of Elon, Robert Lee Stallings and his wife, Peggy of Graham, Jerry Wayne Stallings and his wife, Celia of Charlotte; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; sisters, Leona Allred of Burlington and Ruth Rich of Greensboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, John Thomas and Annie Sarah Ammons McPherson and her great granddaughter, Hailey Dawn West, five brothers and two sisters. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Larry Foust and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
