Lillie Burch

Burlington, NC Lillie Mae Warren Burch, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Orange County and the wife of the late John Webb Burch. Lillie retired from Tower Hosiery and she was later employed at Zayres for several years. She was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker. Lillie enjoyed gardening, quilting and crafts and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Kent of Burlington, Judy Rice and her husband, Ray of Saxapahaw, Linda Burch of Burlington, Ruth Jones and her husband, Tom of Burlington and Cathy Pecor and her husband, Robert of High Point; sons, Mike Burch and his wife, Terry of Burlington and Jody Burch and his wife, Barbara of Kure Beach; grandchildren, Rodney Gilmore, Kristy Gilmore, Brenn Matt Linens, Ken Murray, Chris Jones, Ashley Jones, Brian Burch, Allen Burch, John Luke Pecor, Megan Pecor and Erin Pecor; great grandchildren, Kenley Linens, Avery Burch and Keller Linens; sisters, Frances Hall and Elizabeth Dunn both of Burlington, Velma Cates and her husband, Carlton of Burlington; brothers, Odis Warren and his wife, Maria of Burlington, James Warren and his wife, Melba of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, James Robert and Meaty Evans Warren; sisters, Annie Pulliam and Edna Christopher; brothers, Clyde, Thomas, Robert and Otis Warren. The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, November 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Lowe funeral Home Chapel by Rev. James Black and Rev. Garry Gates. The burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home and other times at the home of her son, Mike Burch.
