Lillian Greeson

Lillian G. Greeson Lillian Gossage Greeson, 88, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the home of her daughter in Clemmons. She graduated from Lewisville High School Indiana in 1945 and from Franklin College Indiana in 1948. While teaching Religious Education in Indianapolis, she met Samuel Luke Greeson and they married in 1950. Dr. Greeson pastored 54 years in North Carolina and Virginia. During that time Lillian was his faithful helpmate and wonderful loving mother. She is survived by her 5 children, Linda Lomax Skinner, Lee Pat Greeson, Lurea Bill Slaughter, Lynette Greeson and Lisa Greg Shelton; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; brother, Glenn Gossage of Indiana and sister, Velma Strong of Alabama. Funeral services will be held at 7:00pm Friday, August 28, 2015 at Temple Baptist Church in Lewisville by Dr. Bud Owen, pastor. The family will receive friends from 5-6:45 prior to the funeral service. Following the service Mrs. Greeson will be taken to Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory in Burlington where the family will receive friends from 11-12 noon on Saturday. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington.
