Leslie Kathleen Black Williams

     Mrs. Leslie Kathleen Black Williams, age 84, of Elon, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

     Born in Bucks County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Milo Black and the late Helen DeVoe Black and was married for 36 years to the late Paul Judson Williams, Sr.  She was a longtime member of Gibsonville United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Methodist Women and the church choir before moving to Oak Island where she was an active member of Ocean View United Methodist Church. Leslie loved living at the beach, singing in the Ocean View Choir, bird watching and painting. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

     Leslie is survived by her two children, Mandy Perry (James) and Jud Williams (Sandy); twin grandchildren, Anna and Troy Williams; a sister-in-law, Janice Black; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a sister, Patricia VandenBerghe; and a brother, Henry “Hank” Black.

     The family would like to thank the staff at Blakey Hall in Elon, NC for their care and support over the past several years.

     A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
