Lena Ward Terrell

Lena Ward Terrell, 94, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.  She was born on June 28, 1925 in Caswell County to the late William Thomas Ward and Ida Cox Ward and was married to the late Howell Spencer Terrell who died in January 2006. Lena retired from Dixie Bell Textiles.  She was a member of Julian Hill Primitive Baptist Church and was in the Ladies Auxiliary with the Gibsonville Fire Department. She is survived by her nieces and nephews

The funeral service will be held 1:00pm Friday, January 17, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Elder Nathan Gillispie and Elder Richard Kirby with the burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 12:45pm Friday prior to the service.
