Elon SAMMY WILLIAMS Leland Samuel Sammy Williams, age 31, of E. Haggard Ave. passed away suddenly Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at UNC Chapel Hill. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Leland Kenneth and Patricia Sadler Williams. He was a member of Stony Creek Presbyterian Church, employed by Kemco of Burlington, Inc. and a 1992 graduate of Western Alamance High School. He leaves behind precious memories to his daughter, Sierra Madison Williams of Gibsonville; parents, Leland Kenneth Williams and Patricia Sadler Williams of Burlington; sister, Susan Gwynn and husband Jesse of Burlington; paternal grandmother, Faye Hill Williams; and niece, Sadler Grace Gwynn. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Samuel Burgess Sadler and Jean Walker Sadler Primm and paternal grandfather, Leland Tracy Williams. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday August 12, 2006 at Stony Creek Presbyterian Church by Rev. Kenneth Hickey, pastor. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Williams will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory until being taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Friday and at other times at the home of his parents 636 Stony Creek Church Rd.
