Leland Chrismon

Leland Melvin "Mel" Chrismon, 80, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Alamance County and was the son of the late Lee Boyd Chrismon and the late Aubrey Leah Powell Chrismon. Mel was the president and owner of Data Management Corporation in Greensboro. He was a member of Shallow Ford Christian Church. Mr. Chrismon served six months active duty training with the U.S. Army Reserve. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mildred "Millie" Spencer Chrismon of the home; brother-in-law, Malcolm McCracken of Mt. Vernon Springs; niece, Susan McCracken of Boone; nephew, David McCracken of Sanford and a cousin, Bartlett Powell of Trinity, FL. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Shallow Ford Christian Church Cemetery by Rev. Steve Regan and Rev. Jim Owen.
