Leiburn Rosalee Joyce Parks

Leiburn Joyce Parks, 81 passed away on Saturday June 22, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Leiburn was born on December 2, 1942 to the late Howard Robert Joyce and Anna Lucille White Joyce. 

Leiburn retired as a manager from the retail industry after many years. She enjoyed working in her yard and spending as much time at the beach as she could. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family. 

Leiburn is survived by her children; Cynthia Raymond (Ernie), Angela Bryant (Kevin), Erica Perry (Rocky) and Chuck Pickard, grandchildren; Walker Perry, Kelsey Hogg, Rose Perry, Katie Perry, Micheal Turner, David Bryant, Dustin Bryant great granddaughter; Hadley Hogg, a brother; Jerry Joyce (Betty) as well as her two special sisters-in-law; Peggy Joyce and Ella Joyce. 

She was preceded in death by her husbands; Jimmy Parks and Larry Pickard parents; Howard and Lucille Joyce, brothers; Rufus Joyce Floyd Joyce, Clay Joyce, Mack Joyce and Keith Joyce.

A graveside service to celebrate Leiburn’s life will be held at 3:00 in the afternoon Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Alamance Memorial Park by Pastor Lee Edwards. The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30PM prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home.
