Lecil Alexander

Lecil Emmett Alexander, 73, went home to his heavenly father on Monday, December 6, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Gillett, AR on September 5, 1948 to the late Lambert Laverne Alexander and Alice Marie McGraw Alexander, and was the husband of 51 years to Donna Lynn Springer Alexander of the home.

Lecil was a Godly Man and a friend to all he met.  As a structural engineer, he retired after 25 years with the Universal Forest Products.  He was a Model A Ford Enthusiast and was a member of the Model A Car Club in Winston-Salem.  Lecil enjoyed wood working, the Titanic, history, airplanes and was a licensed pilot.  He attended Harvest Baptist Church.

Survivors other than his wife, Donna S. Alexander include his sons, Jeffre O’Neal Alexander and Cory Scott Alexander and wife Susan; grandchildren, Madison, Delaney, Courtney, Wyatt, Cole and Samantha; brother-in-law, David Springer and wife Jo Ann; several nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Cheyenne.  Lecil was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill Conine and Ben Conine; and a special uncle and aunt, Homer and Ina Leslie.

The memorial service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Harvest Baptist Church by Rev. Larry Lamberth and Rev. Dave Winstead, with the inurnment to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery Columbarium.  The family will receive friends from 9:30am to 10:45am Saturday at the church and other times at the home.

The family would like to invite all the Model A owners to drive their vehicle in the funeral procession from the church to the cemetery.
