Lawrence "Larry" Duwayne Moehlman

Lawrence "Larry" DuWayne Moehlman, born on December 27, 1955, passed away on January 30, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. He was the beloved son of Alfred DuWayne Moehlman and Marion Elizabeth Worley.

 A proud veteran, Larry honorably served in the United States Army, exemplifying dedication and commitment to his country. He was a devoted husband to Katheryn Moehlman, with whom he shared a life full of love and precious moments.

Larry was a loving father to his daughters, Lisa Steward (husband, John) and Lauren Argetsinger (husband, Greg), whom he adored. He also embraced his stepchildren, Lyle Bottomley and Lachelle Gieger (husband, Brian), as his own. His heart overflowed with love for his grandchildren, Hunter, Hannah, Hope, and Elsie, as well as his step-grandchildren: Ashley, Alston, Chase, Cameron (deceased), Cassidy, Talon, and Brandon. Larry also cherished his step-great-grandchildren: Aubrey, Levi, and Camryn, who brought immense joy to his life.

 Larry is also survived by his brothers, Tim Worley (wife, Leslie) and Stephen Worley, and his sister, Sheree Apple and a host of nieces and nephews. He cherished his family deeply and found joy in the time spent with them.

 A man of boundless energy, Larry loved to be on the go, always seeking opportunities to help others. He had an infectious laugh, a passion for deal hunting, and a love for working in his yard. His generosity, humor, and zest for life will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

 A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC. The family will receive friends following the service.
