Larry Staunton

Larry Dean Staunton, 65, 1612 North NC Hwy 62 passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Staunton was born February 16, 1943 in Alamance County to the late Maurice R. and Gladys Davis Staunton. Mr. Staunton did mechanical work on small engines and was a helper to anyone in need. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Mary Perry Staunton of the home; four sisters, Edith Ivey and Edna Copeland both of Graham, Marie Hill and her husband Guy, and Dottie Lewis and her husband Wallace all of Burlington; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and special friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Garland Simmons. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times the family will be at the home. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, Lou, Shelia, Janet, Dr. Choski, and Alamance Cancer Center for their loving care and support.
