Larry Greeson

Larry Wayne Greeson, 73, passed away peacefully at his home, Sunday, February 7, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born on June 15, 1942 in Guilford County to the late Porter Greeson and Christine Elizabeth Shepherd Greeson who survives. Larry was married to Darlene Thornberry Greeson of 33 years who survives. Larry retired from P. Lorillard after 28 years of service. He was a member of Brick Reformed Church, a US Army veteran and he enjoyed farming. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed dearly. Survivors, other than his wife, Darlene and his mother, Christine, include his children and their spouses, Denise Greeson, Scott and Judy Brantley, Samantha and John Kim, Sean and Teresa Brantley; grandchildren, Josh, Calli, Alyas, Alex, Jesse, Noah, Kaylee S., Christopher, Kaylee B. and Katherine. He was preceded in death by his father, Porter and his sister, Patsy Jean Greeson. The funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Brick Reformed Church by Rev. Geoff LaLone with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home.
