Larry Foster

Larry Gordon Foster, Sr. age 80, of McPherson Rd. passed away Friday, July 26, 2014 at Hospice Home. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Clifford Thurman Foster, Sr. and Ethel Mildred Combs Foster. He operated Foster Irrigations Systems and was a member of Davis Street United Methodist Church and attended Burlington Assembly of God. Survivors include his son, Larry G. "Chris" Foster, Jr. and wife Leslie of Greensboro and daughter, Lisa Foster Layne and husband Tommy of Burlington; nephew, Bruce Foster and niece Cynthia F. Hennigan. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Clifford T. Foster, Jr. and Stephen Foster. Services will be held at 7:00pm Wednesday, July 30, 2014 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Julian Griffin. The family will receive friends and host a reception in honor of their dad following the service. At other times the family will be at the home of Lisa and Tommy Layne; 1045 Briarcliff Rd., Burlington, NC. The family would like to especially thank Diane Davidson for the special care and attention given to their dad during his illness.
