Larry Ford

Larry Scott Ford, age 56, of Gibsonville, died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at his home after a sudden illness. Born in Flint, Michigan, he was the son of John Larry Ford, who survives, and the late Phyllis Annette Clary Ford who died in 2012. He was formerly employed with Carolina Process Piping and was of the Baptist faith. Larry loved his family and his motorcycle. His hobbies included fishing and assembling model airplanes and he was an avid billiards player. Mr. Ford is survived by his children, David Scott Ford of Burlington, Stephen Wesley Ford of Gastonia and Brittney Denise Ford of Burlington; two grandchildren, Hunter Adam Ford and Ethan Skylar Ford; his father of Burlington; two sisters, Kimberly Michelle Ford of Burlington and Kristie Robin Ford of Graham; a brother, Stephen Morris Ford of Elon; a niece, Taylor Brooke Ford of Burlington; and his longtime girlfriend, Traci Lunsford Turner of Asheboro. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Walter Jones.
