Larry Eberlin

Graham Larry D. Eberlin, of Graham, NC went to be with the Lord on January 27, 2016. He was a native of Illinois having been born in Roxana and grew up in Godfrey. He was a graduate of SIUE with a BS/BA degree and a Masters of Public Administration. He retired from the Defense Logistics Agency in 1999. He was the son of Joseph and Viola (Barklage) Eberlin, deceased. He is survived by his wonderful and loving wife, Lynne (Sutton) and brother, Harold. Also surviving are his four children, Cathy Eberlin of Graham, NC, Trudie Rothe of Hanover Park, IL, Jamie V. Barber of Selma, NC and Joseph Eberlin of Bartlett, IL; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Floyd of Gulfport, MS and Charles of Dunnellon, FL and one sister, Ida Disher of East Alton, IL. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a life member of the Marine Corps League, Alan D. Lam Detachment #1209 and the Devil Dogs Pound 210. He was also a member of Riverside Baptist Church of Graham, NC. A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 30 at Riverside Baptist Church, Graham, NC by Rev. Bob Stephenson with visitation with the family one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to MCL, Alan D.
