Larry Baysdon

Elon - Larry Worth Baysdon, 76, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born on April 16, 1941 in Columbus County to the late Demnery Worth Baysdon and Mary Liz Packer, and was the husband to Annita Duncan Baysdon of 32 years who survives.

Larry retired from Apex Aridyne Corporation and NCDOT. He was a member of Glencoe Baptist Church and was the founder of Alamance Gospel Music Association.

Survivors other than his wife, Annita include his sons, Joey Baysdon, Steven Duncan and wife, Jessica; daughter, Kelly Baysdon Fiscal and husband, Josias; 10 grandchildren and one on the way; and a sister, Nancy Britt and husband, Junior. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tommy Baysdon.

The funeral service will be held 2:00pm Monday, December 11, 2017 at Glencoe Baptist Church by Rev. Darrell Massey with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9pm Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home.
