Larry Lynn Aldridge

Larry Lynn Aldridge, 84, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 surrounded by his family at his home. He was born on September 6, 1940 to the late James Whitted and Corrina Mae Susan Page. He was the husband of the late Frances Medley Parrish Aldridge who died in 2020.

Larry retired as a truck driver with Mebane Packaging and was a US Army veteran. He enjoyed watching Westerns on TV and listening to Country Music. He attended Lakeview Community Church.

Larry is survived by his sons, Donald “Don” Lynn Aldridge and Jeffrey “Jeff” Todd Aldridge; grandchildren, Katie Aldridge Phillips and husband Clint and Rebecca Aldridge Punch and husband, Brian; sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Aldridge Hicks and Janice Aldridge Smith and husband, David; brother, Kenneth Aldridge and wife, Pam; sister-in-law, Shelby Roney Aldridge; caregiver and best friend, Chris Barnes and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brother, Jimmy R. Aldridge and infant sister, Mamie Sue Aldridge.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice for their kind and compassionate care for Larry.

A private burial will take place on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Alamance Memorial Park.
