Kingston Herold

Kingston Alexander Herold, 7, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Duke University Medical Center. He was born July 1, 2008 in Durham County, NC to Amber L. Herold and William O. Herold. Kingston was happy, loving and cheerful boy who enjoyed life. Kingston embodied the human spirit. He faced adversity with his infectious smile and heart-warming laughter. He was a blessing to all who knew and loved him, and he will always be in our hearts, no matter how long it may be until we are reunited. In his seven short years, his beautiful soul left a big mark in our world. He is survived by his mother and John McFoy of Carolina Beach and his father of Saxapahaw; five sisters and three brothers. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Deborah Baldwin and Gene Farrington of Burlington; paternal grandparents John Herold and Anne Cassebaum of Elon. The memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Harold Profitt, Sr. The family will receive friends 10:00 10:45 AM Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home of his grandmother Deborah Baldwin. The family would like to say special thanks to all Maxim nurses who cared for Kingston over the years, with special mention to the following: Celia Blum, Carol Kennedy, David Williams, Linda Cykert also Tiffany Swanson and to all the medical staff who cared for Kingston at Duke University Hospital, with special thanks to Barbara Donadio RN at Duke Pediatrics Roxboro Rd, Durham.
