Kevin Summers

Elon Kevin Ray Summers, 42, of Busick Quarry Rd. died on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Alamance County and the son of the late David and Denise Barber Summers. Kevin formerly worked with NC DOT and was a member of Altamahaw Baptist Church. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially working alongside his dad on race cars, go-karts, and restoring classic cars. He is survived by his brother, Keith Diana Summers of Elon and uncles, Wayne Pam Summers of Elon, Robert Dee Summers of Burlington. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Altamahaw Baptist Church by Dr. Steve Tucker with burial to follow in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday evening at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
