Kenneth Wilson

Burlington - Kenneth "Kenny" Wilson, 68, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 peacefully at his home. He was born in Cumberland County on December 20, 1949 to the late William Glenn Wilson, Sr. and Bertie Mae Cobb Wilson.

Kenny formerly worked for UNC as a print services tech and a US Army veteran. Kenny was a loving dad and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid Nascar fan, golfer and enjoyed fishing and camping at the lake.

Kenny is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Shaw and husband, Troy, and Ashley Wilson; grandchildren, Stacie Goode and husband, J.R., Tiffany Shaw and fiancé, Michael Nunn, Stephen Shaw and wife, Beverly, Presley King, Elizah Wilson, Jaxson Wilson and Shyla Wilson; great grandson, Ryker Goode; sister, Irma Collins; brothers, Robert, Gary and Roger Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ina Rae Mitchell and Iantha "Delores" Goode; and a brother, Glenn Wilson, Jr.

The family will be having a gathering from 6 to 8pm Monday, March 19, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
